Donna is presently developing for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive Virtual Reality Headsets using Unity 3D.  

Donna holds a Master of Fine Arts in 3D Animation and Graphics (2013) in addition to a Master’s Degree  in Communication Arts (2010) from the New York Institute of Technology, Manhattan in New York City, specializing in Television, Film and Broadband.  She is the recipient of the John J. Theobald Graduate Achievement Award in Communication Arts (2010) and is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America East Student Program.  Donna is Producer and CEO of the independent film and marketing company Silver Cheese Productions & Media, LLC in Manhattan.  She is the post production editor and producer for the independent film Monsters Among Us (2012) and produces the web-based on location talk show The Take covering Manhattan events such as NY Comic Con, New York International Auto Show as well as celebrity interviews.  She has produced interviews with Former ABC Vice President and Eyewitness News creator, Al Primo for Paley Center for Media, Paranormal shows for local television to music videos.She models and animates in Autodesk Maya and has fun doing stop motion animation, character development and has recently been working with building games in Unity 3D.

An experienced teacher and lecturer, Donna specializes in Motion Graphics, New Media and Multimedia projects.  In addition to her Masters degrees, she holds three undergraduate degrees:  an A.S. degree in Broadcasting and Communications, a B.S. in Business and an A.S. in Legal Studies.    She teaches Type in Motion: After Effects & Video and Audio Production at the Touro Graduate School of Technology, Multimedia Presentations, Web Design 1,2,& 3 Flash and  Computer Applications at Berkeley College and Computers in Advertising and graduate courses in Web Design, Set Design, Digital Multimedia and Visual Effects at the New York Institute of Technology.

Along with television production training, Donna studied graphic design, black and white film photography, documentary photography, digital photography, audio production and film and other digital technology.

She has been active with projects at Cox Communications, Public Access Television productions and served as a Media Services Assistant while earning her broadcasting degree.  She trained as a U.S. Army Medic at Fort Sam, Houston, TX.  In 1998 she opened a full-service web design and hosting business which she successfully operated for over ten years.  In 2009, she completed an editing internship at NYCTV, a division of the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting.Donna is a former adjunct at the Kittredge Center for Business and Workforce Development at Holyoke Community College teaching beginner and advanced web design for small business.  She also teaches digital photography and Adobe Photoshop adult education classes at other locations in Connecticut.  Other teaching credits include five years at Smith College Exercise and Sports Sciences Department, teaching accredited self-defense courses, adjunct; University of Connecticut Safety Week, Eastern Connecticut State University, Quinnipiac University Workshop, Bay Path College.

Newsprint and broadcasting:  Television and radio credits include various news specials on ABC, CBS, NBC, public access, News Talk Radio.  Donna and her unique courses have been noted in television specials on Channel 3, Channel 30, talk radio, the New York Times, Boston Globe, Hartford Courant, Women’s Day Magazine, Women Unlimited Magazine, The Connecticut Post, The Journal Inquirer, Careers and Colleges Magazine, Longmeadow News, National On-Campus Report and many more news publications.

Publications:  Donna is author & co-author of print and e-books, Merch by Amazon T-Shirt Image Prep with Adobe Photoshop,  Before College Book for Women: Protecting Yourself from Campus Crime (1994) and You’re Gonna Miss the Prom? (2003) as well as a piece in Women’s Day Magazine.
